review ¸ eBook, ePUB or Kindle PDF Ð Allison Brennan Allison Brennan Ð 8 free read summary The Prey 108 First she imagined it Then a killer made it realRowan Smith is living in a borrowed Malibu beach house while her bestselling novel is made into a Hollywood movie A former FBI agent with a haunted past Rowan thinks she has outrun her demons But fiction and reality collide when a dismembered body is found in Colorado the real life victim had the same name occupation and looks as a character in Rowan’s novel By the time the FBI the LAPD and her own private body. Wow was my first impression of this book It has the kind of dark elements I like in a romantic suspense novel The villains are EVIL twisted killers I loved that The characters are believable and the tension in this story is so thick it would be hard to cut with a knife unless a sharp one It s Allison s debut novel and I had the chance to meet her when I was in the US at a conference She s definately a gifted writer and her chosen genre suits her She s not affraid to make her characters suffer and I like that too now wishy washy girlie girlie heroines and iritating overly macho heroes in this book Plot driven it s a fast moving story that I ll be picking up to read again soon

review ¸ eBook, ePUB or Kindle PDF Ð Allison Brennan Allison Brennan Ð 8 free read summary The Prey 108 Is complete no continuing mystery and there is a separate hero heroine and villain However I do have recurring characters throughout my books so someone may be introduced as a minor or major secondary character in one book then come back as the hero or a secondary character in another bookTHE PREY 122705Setting Malibu CaliforniaHero John Flynn former Delta Force turned mercenaryDEA drug informantHeroine Rowan Smith former FBI agent turned crime fiction writer. Former FBI agent turned writer is stalked by a crazy fan Her bodyguard has to uncover the secrets of her past to find out who is trying to kill her yada yada I did not like the main character in this book Way to much crying and feeling sorry for herself the fact that 2 men fall for her is beyond me Its the worst Brennan book Ive read But I have enjoyed her other books so Ill cut her some slack Usually Id read this kind of book in 2 days but it took me almost 4 and that was just bc Im to stubborn to throw it away

review ¸ eBook, ePUB or Kindle PDF Ð Allison Brennan Allison Brennan Ð 8 free read summary The Prey 108 Guard gather around her another person is killed–again the murder ripped from the pages of Rowan’s bookIn the company of a former Delta Force officer with secrets of his own Rowan faces an excruciating dilemma the only way to chase down the tormenting killer is by revisiting the darkness of her past–and by praying for some way out againAfter the prey is chosen the hunt is on and the kill is certainFrom the author's websiteEach book stands alone The story. A wildly interesting concept executed poorly at every turn While I wasn t really expecting much to start what I got was a ridiculous love story wrapped in a highly illogical mystery Paper thin characters who repeat the same thoughts and feelings again and again Zero motivation to continue this series considering what the opening book brought to the table
